Tuesday was a wash out I was moody and miserable and sat reading in my running gear all day but wouldn’t go out, poor Willow
Today i was determined to make a better day so after a full 8 hours sleep last night we were up fairly early and getting ready to go out, it’s blowing a hooley out there and my daughter messaged to ask what we were doing so i said join us and for the first time she did, with the dog who we ran past carefully ignoring while she walked and carefully avoided getting too close to anyone else and the dog was amazing, he jiggled with excitement every time we passed them but we’d agreed not to greet him until the end as we don’t want him jumping up at runners,
Willow went with them and walked after 20 minutes and i carried on round the lake met up with them again once I’d covered almost 4k dropped down to a walk and took the dog lead on the way past for my cool down
that was perfect and fastest k 9.06 with deep breathing but not gasping for breath
Have a great weekend everyone whether you are running or not

Glad that today was much better than Tuesday, not good at all wearing your running gear all day and not getting out a run, today you enjoyed your run around the lake and ran almost 4K, well done 😀. Great you managed 9.06k and did not need to gasp for breath. I wish you both a good weekend. 😊
I am enjoying my weekend thanks, this morning I ran run 2 of week 4 of Ju Ju's Magic10, that is a 30 minute run, I did not get to parkrun because of the bad weather, gales, heavy hail and snow showers, managed that 30 minute run between showers, one of the parkruns I go to was cancelled due to a fallen tree on the course.
I know exactly what you mean. My runs seem to be a bit too spread out at the moment because I am so busy. It looks like you both found a good way to combine some of your favourite things today 😊.
He’s a 2 year old collie and is quite reactive to the world around him 6 months ago he would have been spinning at the end of the lead full of anxiety of all the other dogs and people around so when out we have to be ready to change direction if people look like they are coming too close, my daughter did say once he’d spotted us there was little training going on as he kept looking for us, on the cool down walk he and i did jog quite a way slowly, the eventual idea is that he runs with me
