W4R2 felt much harder than R1. Found myself going slower but still did it. Quite liked running in the rain, washed the sweat off hehe. Will miss these late morning runs when I'm back to work next week and back on the dreaded treadmill...looking forward to the clocks changing next month.
Does anyone else struggle to fit their runs around their job? Any advice? Xx

Well done on pushing through. 👏I'm not finding W4 easy either.
As to fitting it in, like comfortnotspeed (CNS - hope you don't mind the abbreviation :)) , I get up earlier - not as early as CNS. Just enough to get a drink of water, a warm up and out the door before my body realises its out of bed! 🤣 Then home in time for the normal morning routine.
Thanks guys - Comfortnotspeed and mom24uk - you guys are impressive! I don't know if I can do it - I'm up at 5.30 for work anyways and that's bad enough! Maybe when its a bit brighter and warmer hehe
It must be really hard for you. I get up when you do but I don't have to rush to work. Some people run in their lunch time, others as soon as they get home, others still have the energy to go later in the evening! My teacher friend (currently training for a marathon) fits it in whenever she can including running while her daughter is at clubs and weekends. Hope you manage to find something that works for you.
Yes it's hard but I make sure I always run 3 times a week or I'd get cross with myself. I tend to run with club once or twice, parkrun Saturday and a run on my own or with friends another evening. It's hard but I feel elated after so that motivates me. A run from your front door is only 30 minutes or so. Also, rainy runs are my favourite! I can breathe better 👍🏽
Well done on your run, especially in the rain - makes you feel kind of super- dedicated doesn't it?😉 Yep, it can take a bit of organising to fit running around work and other commitments. I run after work during the week as this seems to suit me well and then enjoy my long run at the weekend. Winter time this means wearing a chest light and embracing the darkness but that's ok too!
