W7R1 all done!!!

Having completed W6 on Saturday I was keen to have an extra rest day and my usual Monday night was scuppered by horrendous weather so yesterday afternoon was my chance. Managed to get away from work early, running kit on, including a thin fleece jacket as it was 0 degrees when I set off. All went ok, first 10 was good, next 10 was a bit tough then the last five in the deluge of hail stinging my face was cooling if nothing else!!!!

Managed to cover 4.2km in my 25 mins so I’m super chuffed. Looking forward to R2 later this week. Free yoga sessions in work tomorrow so hope it helps.

Thankfully the hail was only the last few minutes so not too bad! It was cold though... hope your R2 goes ok.

Good for you. Just think, if you can run in this weather, the summer will be a doddle.

Yoga is a great complement to running, as is swimming - I'm always banging on about swimming. 🙄

Same run yesterday. Amazing.

Well done us.

Yoga is great.

I offer feee yoga to my work mates also as training to be a yoga teacher.

They love it. It’s great you have it.

Well done all of us 🙌🏻🧘🏻‍♀️🤸‍♂️

Well done you! 🎉

I’m at the same point, completed wk7 run 1 last night 2 days later than my usual run day due to weather.

Even though I found it challenging it was great to be back out.

Enjoy the rest of the week!
