That's it, all done!!

I graduated today! After 13 weeks I finally completed the final run of week 9. What a challenge it has been. When I started back at the end of April, it was hard work and quite warm, and today it was hard work and a hot Spanish morning. My most enjoyable runs were in the UK during the past couple of weeks whilst on holiday. When I started this programme, my aim was to improve my general fitness so that I wouldn't get out of breath walking up hills. I have just spent a week in the Derbyshire Peak District and managed the hill walking without gasping for air so it was worth every bit of the journey. Now that I can run for 30 minutes, my next goal is to run 5K as I am currently doing just over 4k in 30 minutes, and hopefully to lose weight and tone up in the process. What a great training programme this couch to 5K is!!

You should be very proud. So very well done to you and it's great to see that the running is already doing good things to other areas of your life. Now the fun begins and you can run just because you can!

Don't forget to get your badge. You've earned it!
