W7R1, that bloomin' wind!!

Not me, the weather! Found this run tough, the wind was against me and my breathing went all to pot while running against it. I seemed to work backwards and the first 10 minutes were easier than the second 10. Felt close to calling it a day when Laura said I had 5 minutes to go, but somehow dragged myself round the playing field and in the last 3 minutes I picked up and found my feet again.

Happy I completed it and happy it was over today if I'm honest. Although I'm actually amazed that I caught myself thinking I'd done the easy bit (one loop around the field), but still had 2 more to go. At one point just completing one loop was a mission in itself so I'm still taking this run, however difficult as a positive 😊

Yes you have to slow down further against a wind in order to keep that extra oxygen coming that you need.

Cold oxygen also less efficient to process.

The no brainer and answer to everything is slow and steady and if needs arise slower still.πŸ€”πŸŒŸπŸ‘πŸ‘

Very well done. You are battling on.πŸŒŸπŸ‘πŸ‘

To true it was a positive, they all are.πŸ€”πŸ‘ More miles in your legs and lungs.More data to process for your running brain.πŸŒŸπŸ‘πŸ‘

That makes a lot of sense. I think I pushed myself a bit too much to begin with. Slowing down really did help....eventually. Thanks for the positivity

Well done Mand102 ! I listened to the week 1 podcast today; remembering how tough those first few runs were and how far I have come. I never believed on my very first run that I’d one day be able to run for 25 minutes!

Keep at it; the best is yet to come πŸ˜€

I'm the same. Really couldn't see myself being able to run for 25 minutes, never mind so soon. This is such an amazing program!
