The advice ALWAYS is if it hurts, rest it, if it hurts a lot, seek proper medical advice. I appreciate it's a blow to your schedule, but a couple of extra days rest to allow whatever it is that you've damaged to recover now will be far better than a couple of weeks (or more) on the Injury Couch because you've made things worse. Sorry!!

Sorry to hear you are hurt. In the short term, resting, anti-inflamatories (if you can take them) and ice (a bag of peas wrapped in a tea towel is good) should ease the pain. But you need to see a GP for a proper diagnosis. Or a sports physio if you can afford it. Nobody here can diagnose you; you need a medical professional for that. Wishing you all the best for a speedy recovery. 👍
Echo the above advice, I was hobbling on Friday afternoon & feeling gutted, but it had eased enough to run again by Sunday evening- hopefully yours will come & go too?

I’d rest etc, as described above, and see how it is on Friday. If it still hurts see a medic 😁
