Plodding along through the programme nicely 🐢 week 4 not bad but for some reason found R3 harder ( think I may have started too quickly ) such confidence!

Hi TortoiseTrail ....Well done on completing week 4, that’s some running you’ve got under your belt now! I think you’ve hit the nail on the head there and set off like a whippet!! Slower than slow remember....we don’t want you to burn yourself out!

I’d love to be a whippet (in running speak of course)

I’ll definitely get back to tortoise pace tomorrow 🐢

Congratulations on completing week 4, perhaps you ran run 3 a little faster than the previous two, onwards and upwards to week 5.

Well done TortoiseTrail for finishing Week 4. I'l agree with the others that you probably did attack the third run with a bit too much gusto, but that's easily rectified. I reached the same stage as you on Saturday morning, but decided to postpone W5 R1 from Monday because of the storm. All being well I shall go out and try that one in the morning. I've not looked ahead to see what it entails (this time), I'm doing as advised, and trusting the programme, but I have been telling myself since Saturday to make sure I go slowly!

Good luck for tomorrow Alast, lets hope the weather is calm. I’ve had a sneak preview at W5 R1 I’m sure we’ll be 👍

Some runs are just like that. Chalk it up to experience and move on. The next one is bound to be great.
