Week 1 in the bag

Week 1 was ok, mentally harder than expected but done! Last time I did this I had Sarah Millican as my coach - this time Michael Johnson.

Not sure if it’s the app, or my head phones or the fact that his voice is sooo deep but I’m getting a lot of crackles and break up when he speaks - anyone else getting this?

Only ever used Laura. Podcasts and now on the app. She never fails me! 😁

I once considered using sarah, saw her live once, she was brilliant, but, I couldn’t get my head around her telling me to run🤔🤦🏻‍♀️

She’s telling me it’s time to run, whilst probably tucking into a pork pie/ pastry/ cream cake!

I’d rather believe in the lovely Laura.

Lots of people seem to like Micheal though.

Good luck 🍀🌶x

Googled and may be a Bluetooth issue - had wired headphones last time

On week 5 with Michael, he has been fine for me, are you using corded or cordless headphones, both can have there downsides, connection on corded is more fragile than any of us would like, I buggered many a Walkman back in the day, anyone under 30 is now saying 'Walkman? No running'

Cordless/bluetooth can crackle a bit if the battery gets low, but usually dies shortly after. Have you tried listening without the headphones and use the phones internal speakers? That would tell you if it is the app or not.

Well done! Yes I find Michael more motivating somehow :) Are you using wireless headphones? If so then this is probably the issue - when I use wireless I get the same problem but not if I use ordinary wired ones. Might be to do with quality of headphones - my husband doesn't have same issue with his wireless headphones.
