If you had of told me 2 months ago that I would be dropping of my little one to school (early tennis lesson) and running before work .. I would of laughed in your face.
A few aches and pains although stretching and doing warm up walks, I’ve decided I’m going to give myself 2 rest days in-between weeks to keep to the same days and avoid pushing myself to far too quickly.
Also a new pair of fitted running shoes is on the cards as after this week I feel mine aren’t good for my feet. Must look after body first!
I thought I’d post as it’s nice to chat to people who are on the same week, or same ish level.
I’ve found it fab reading on here and great inspo.
Keep up the good work everyone 👌🏼💪🏼👍🏼

Hi there libs18 ...welcome to the forum and a new chapter in your life!! Dropping your daughter off and running before work is just the first of many strange things that will happen to you!! Having extra rest days is ok...and as long as you're not running on pain then that's ok too..aches are natural but with extra stretching before and after running should help with this...also Oldfloss has a pinned post on the left, strength and flex which you might find useful? Enjoy your journey, keep posting on here to let us know how you're getting on and any tips or advice you need will be here for you too...happy running
I’m new to all this too! Just finished run 3 of week 2 and feeling good about the whole thing. Absolutely cannot imagine running for 20 mins but everyone says trust in the programme and that’s what I’m doing. Well done you and keep going!!
Ah good luck! I got bored of c25k and am now doing another plan as can manage further for longer. But it’s all good! Taking part in sponsored event this month for brainstrust which keeps me motivated but I love it anyway! Enjoyed 2 miles straight yesterday for the first time so slow and steady is the way forward all the best x
