Take it really slow, drink plenty of water every day, trust the plan and read the guide and you will be fine

Last summer we struggled with the one minute runs and now can run slow and steady for over half hour so if we can you can and we are in our sixties the benefits are amazing

Thank you good luck to you too it does get easier then does it? X😀

It definitely gets easier after the first week, remember to stay hydrated too that makes quite a big difference and to stretch, but most importantly enjoy it 😊 it’s a great program 👍 you’ll smash it 👊

Well done! The first one is the hardest!

This time last year, I couldn’t run for a bus...now, I can run 10K and I’ve signed up for a half marathon in September....

Stick to the plan....it’s amazing....you CAN do this!

Enjoy......it’s kinda addictive 😜

Well done - good time of the year to start. All the advice above, plus don’t look ahead too much - just go with your coach’s instructions and you’ll be running for 30 mins by the end of spring! It’s a great plan.

Well done. To echo many others, the first run is the hardest and you've smashed that!

Anniecycle had it right - there will be days you don't want to run, but if you can get over that you'll be doing great. I've struggled sometimes (today for example) but I've never finished a run and felt worse (mentally) than before I began.

The support on here is amazing - as you've already found out - so keep coming back for motivation if you need it, tips, advice and general good vibes.

Keep on keeping on!
