Week 8 Run 1 V2

I only had one objective when I started on this run and that was to complete 28 minutes of running.

I had to repeat the last run of week 7 and even though I completed it I hadn't felt too comfortable throughout.

After my warm up walk I set off at a pedestrian pace. When I reached the 14 minute mark I declined Laura's kind invitation to up the pace. Those dreaded first 10 minutes are a thing.

However the next section went well so much so that when Laura said there were 5 minutes left I felt that I could up the pace. Slightly.

But I was feeling quite strong and my breathing was good so after a couple of mins I went a little faster. Then, with just one minute left, I increased my speed once more and finished on a high.

Now looking forward to some strength and flex tomorrow before I run again either Friday evening or Saturday morning.

Happy runnings
