AFTER 2 YEARS, I GRADUATED!

November 2017 I first installed c25k and stopped at wk3 following a run where I hadn't taken my inhaler. (Nothing bad happened, just uncomfortable then Christmas took over). I started again in January, got to Wk 9 run 1, then the heatwave kicked in, tried to go out early but just too hot. Then followed 18 months of all kinds of holy crap, including busy work, broken leg, type 1 diabetes diagnosis, redundancy and job searching, sprained right ankle and knee and 8 weeks later a sprained left ankle! Finally picked up the baton again in September the developed an injury in my deltoid tendon (inner ankle) as a result of the earlier sprain. But this time I didn't give up and instead self referred for physio while keeping up fitness with other sports like cycling. The exercises came good, the ankle now holds up well and I finally graduated on 14th December. Glad I persevered, I'm wondering if I can push myself for the Manchester 10k in May
