3 years, one broken ankle, 3 & 1/2 starts ......AND ONE RUN TO GO πŸŽ‰

So three years ago I got up to Week 4 ....and broke my ankle; 1 year later I got to Week 7 ....and my ankle wouldn’t hold up; 9 months after that I did 3 runs (starting at week 1 again!), & had a significant bereavement which precluded running.

This time I have been determined to take it slowly (I didn’t use Strava this time as I didn’t want to compete against myself) and GET THERE!! Now I just have Week 9, Run 3 to go!!!

So aged 61, 7 years on from a year’s treatment for breast cancer, 3 and a half attempts at C25K.... and I’m almost there!!

I haven’t posted this time as I didn’t want to β€˜jinx it’ but any encouragement for that final run (which may be tomorrow but probably Friday) would be MUCH APPRECIATED πŸ˜€πŸŽ‰πŸ˜€πŸŽ‰πŸ˜‚!!

This forum has kept me going before and I am very grateful ❀️x

Wow. That's some determination. If that doesn't inspire me to keep going nothing will. Good luck for your run. Pretty sure you've got this πŸ‘
