So three years ago I got up to Week 4 ....and broke my ankle; 1 year later I got to Week 7 ....and my ankle wouldnβt hold up; 9 months after that I did 3 runs (starting at week 1 again!), & had a significant bereavement which precluded running.
This time I have been determined to take it slowly (I didnβt use Strava this time as I didnβt want to compete against myself) and GET THERE!! Now I just have Week 9, Run 3 to go!!!
So aged 61, 7 years on from a yearβs treatment for breast cancer, 3 and a half attempts at C25K.... and Iβm almost there!!
I havenβt posted this time as I didnβt want to βjinx itβ but any encouragement for that final run (which may be tomorrow but probably Friday) would be MUCH APPRECIATED πππππ!!
This forum has kept me going before and I am very grateful β€οΈx
