Oh well... i'm done with last run. It's been an interesting and challenging 9 weeks.
I had a massive heart attack last May and after 2 bypasses couldn't even run for over a minute. This week i've been doing 30 minute runs. Tough work, but definitely worth it.
Running slow as a turtle because cardiologists forbid me to go over 140 BPM, so covered only 3 kilometers during run phase. Guess now i'll have to get to 5k run by adding 10% weekly mileage and in 6 weeks i'll come here asking for a graduate batch
It's going to be a long ass road to running a full marathon... much longer and tougher than i thought, but i'm going to do it or die trying

If you've run 30 minutes 3 times, then you are a graduate, so pop over to healthunlocked.com/couchto5... and let the admins know so they can award you that thoroughly deserved "Graduate" badge.
Given what you've been through, that is a fantastic and inspirational achievement.
Congratulations on your graduation after everything you’ve been through. It is now recommended that you consolidate with 3 30 minutes a week for the next 3 weeks before extending further.
I believe there is now a consolidation club on the forum where you can gain advice and support post graduation.
