I have a Jack Russell. So no chance of running with him. He'd be off into the trees, chasing anything that moves 🤣.

Well done on your progress. Sounds like you're doing great!

Well done, if your dog is good on the lead running this programme will help you both, i think i’d walk longer before i started so all business was dealt with before you start the app the dog will soon realise and get it over with quickly so you can both concentrate

He might be young to complete a steady run but a bit of trial and error you will both find your way good luck

The dog needs time to learn this new routine as well as you, hopefully it'll catch on soon. Happy running

It could be a fantastic lead walk/running training opportunity for you. Would recommend taking some treats and when he trots along side you, Checking out where you are and looking at you then treat him, that way you will have a running buddy for life! I would use a tube of primula or liver paste and let him have a little lick when he is being attentive. It will help his lead walking no end.

Hi thanks for tip will do😃

My two year old cockapoo showed great promise last year when I started C25k. Unfortunately the novelty soon wore off and she quite literally dug her paws into the ground during a week 2 run and I had to abandon my run to walk her home!

So that’s me out twice now on run days - first with her ladyship and then for a run!

She looks at me nonchalantly now when I put on my trainers but I’ve told her she’s burnt her bridges on that one!

I’m sure you’ll have more luck than me 😊 🐶 🐾 🏃‍♀️!

Hi I run with my hound but make sure I do at least a 15 min walk before I start to run so he’s ‘empty’! It doesn’t stop

Me having to run after him when he chases a squirrel but at least I’m running...😜
