Week 1 Run 2

Hopefully taken on board the suggestions following my first run. Ran at a more gentle pace (thanks say my thighs!!) but still did it!

Felt great afterwards, for about an hour; now wondering whether I can even contemplate another run??

The answer, of course, is that I will - this is too important

Well done for completing your second run, well done for taking suggestions on board and well done for the attitude of 'The answer, of course, is that I will - this is too important'. That's three well done's and you're on your way. Slowing down certainly appears to be the secret potion we all need to complete C25K, learning that is a very useful lesson. Just one more and you're on to Week 2, all the best with it.

Well done! Putting one foot in front of the other can seem so hard. Make the most of your rest day, and take on the next run literally one step at a time :) You can do this (if I can, anyone can ;) )

Well done.

Stretching immediately after every run, nhs.uk/live-well/exercise/h... while muscles are still warm and supple, pulls out contractions, avoiding carrying tensions into the next run and also improves recovery by improving blood flow.
