I' ache a today after day 1 week 1 lol but I'm on a mission I've just signed up for the 5k cancer race for life in May it's 5k lol so that's my goal

Well done.

Stretching immediately after every run, while muscles are still warm and supple, pulls out contractions, avoiding carrying tensions into the next run and also improves recovery by improving blood flow.

Yes I think most of here know that feeling. I could hardly walk when I got out of bed the next morning 😆.

The days rest will do you good. Although I didnt listen to the stretching advice straight away, so even after a days rest, I still took aches into run 2 with me. Ouch!
