Smashed Week 5...20 mins non stop man!

As I hit the park back in the town I brought the kids up ..my eyes welled up as I remembered training for 5k then to save my mental health as my marriage nosedived.it worked. I plugged into Laura and with her encouragement ran the whole block which was:lake X2. Thanks guys for all the encouragement up to now.I then went ice skating in London and never stopped whizzing round for 45 mins. I have never enjoyed my birthday skate so much. Can't wait to get fitter. Love it.

Thanks for all those encouraging posts guys. I have really felt the benefit of our tight support network. Both from my fellow runners and the Admin team. Was so achey last night but after a vicious hotel shower I feel fine today.

Very well done. I think W5.3 is the toughest in the whole program. The rest builds you nicely to running for 30mins. Keep going, you'll do it!
