I did it, I just kept putting one foot in front of the other for 20 minutes. I couldn’t do that 5 weeks ago. Thank you to everyone posting words of encouragement on here it really does help.

Congratulations! I did mine on Sunday and while the last few minutes were hard I was determined not to stop! Feels amazing afterwards, doesn’t it 😃

It certainly did. At 10 mins my coach in my ear said that the hard part was convincing my mind to keep going and that really was the key for me. I could feel myself about to give up and those words made me keep going.

Brilliant! That's the key! Just keep going and going and going and next thing you know, you're done and grinning like a fool! Enjoy that happy buzz, you're doing great!

Now you know you really can do it! 👍🏻😁

Well done! I was feeling the same at the beginning of week 3! Managed first run at 3 mins, amazing, considering I hated walking on the treadmill for even 5 mins

Well done, you seem as surprised as I was when I achieved this. I thought it would be impossible when struggling through week 1. That was well over a year ago and I still do 30 minutes 3 times a week, sometimes a few minutes longer. Keep it up.

Well done 👍 You’re right - it really is a major landmark and the rest of the programme will probably just feel like a series of gentle extensions. Brilliant isn’t it?

What a fabulous achievement, well done you! Just goes to show that all your training is paying off, keep at it and you'll smash the rest. Remember, slow and steady wins the race. Looking forward to seeing your graduation post soon :)

Congratulations! How brilliant. I’ve just completed week 4 and I really don’t know if I’ll be able to get through all the week 5 runs....it seems like such a big jump in a small space of time.

Well done! I know how you feel. It’s amazing isn’t it. Believe me, if you stick at it you will just get better and better. Just like you last May when I started, I was exhausted by half way through the week 1 runs! Then, last weekend I managed to run 9km. It’s amazing, and so are you for sticking at it! Well done!
