Normally go to a couch inspored running group on Tues evening but my son has a football match this evening so have to go to that instead.
So decided to do wk 7 run 3 at lunchtime. My first time running in the middle of the day. I normally go out in the morning before starting my day or go to the running club in the evening. So I was a bit worried about how it would go.
Well, I completed it and even managed my PB, 2 miles in the 25 mins...Go Me!
So onwards I go to week 8 and back to going very slow so that I make those extra minutes.
Still can't believe that I can keep going for 25 mins without stopping. I can remember the weeks when 5 mins seemed just an impossible ask.

Well done I personally find I run better at the start of the day, rather than the end of the day when I'm tired. Although to be fair, I'm usually tired at the start too!
And whilst it's very true that distance run doesn't matter in C25K, it is always encouraging to see your distance improve, these little milestones are important for morale, I feel.
Obviously I wouldn't dare dissagree with Oldfloss , so I'm sure you can do slow and steady, but still get the odd PB every so often
Yes I agree that seeing an improvement no matter how small helps to add to the sense of achievement . But I am quite happy to go slow as my objective is to make the time and if I improve on speed over the series of runs then that is just a cherry on top 😀
