Just wondering how many out there got a head start on starting and didn’t wait until 1 January?! Hoping to have 2 under the belt by Wednesday morning 🥳

Me! I started today! Like you, hoping to do another run on Tuesday so will be pleased if I can get two in before the New Year is here! Good luck!

I reckon we will be on a roll by the new year! Less a resolution. More a habit!!

Absolutely agree!! That’s totally what I was thinking- if I start on Jan 1st, I reckon it’d feel like a New Years Resolution (which I always end up quitting) so I’m trying to convince myself that this is my new routine!

🖐️ Me 😁

I was going to wait for the new year, then Friday evening I decided Saturday was the day to start 😊 one down, hoping to get the second done tomorrow 😊

Saturday was the day I joined the weight loss forum (sister site to here) almost 2 years ago, and that turned out quite well, so I figured go for it 😊 👍

Congratulations on starting C25K, there are more people at this time of the year starting C25K and other training programs than other times of the year to get healthier and fitter after the Christmas and New Year's festivities. I wish you a happy running journey with C25K.

i started last year the day after boxing day with the idea of a head start :)

can`t quite believe i am still here and can run a whole 5k with comfort....when i started, the week1 and 2 were really hard with lots of huffing and puffing and beetroot face.

just remember slow and steady, rest days and drink lots.

i have not pushed myself further but am trying to decide if,this year i want speed or distance but as long as i do about 10k a week and tick over,it`s all good.

It’s great that you started earlier than the new year as it shows your enthusiasm for C25K. The great thing about the program is that you can start whenever you like 😊

Keep it up 💪🏼
