I’ll join you! I too will be returning for the 3rd time and also have a dodgy knee. I’m hoping to get out within the next couple of days. We can hobble round together! x
We are intending starting again very soon. We have graduated, but heart (me) and eye (her) problems have kept us out for almost a year. We do a run/walk at Parkrun every week, but thinking of incorporating Parkrun into the program. So our three days will be Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
As for the knees, I have a problem there too. But I did find that as I went through the course, they got better. We continued to run three times a week, even on holiday and just before I had to stop, my knees were just about sorted.
Good luck with your C25K this time around. It is great that it is always there when we need to refresh.
I’m doing the C25K for the second time. I’ve just done W1R3. I have similar experience with my left knee. It has been dodgy for years (I’m 57 and overweight) but the twinges gradually went away as I went through the programme. I’m assuming that the running helps all the muscles work better together, possibly strengthening supporting muscles? I have no scientific basis for saying this but just the actual pain-free knee, so I’m glad to get more evidence of this happening for others too.
