Been a little quiet recently

As per the title, I've been a little quiet recently, I've had a couple of runs since my last post, 2 outdoor and one on the treadmill.

First outdoor one I had to stop 1.3 miles into a 3 miler, I was running on the local ParkRun course ahead of my first one on Wednesday and I went over on my ankle on some uneven surface, my fault I wasn't looking where I was going.

I then ran on the treadmill with my ankle support on, I've not uses one in a while but it seemed to help.

Then this morning, I'm not sure why I did it I put both ankle supports on, didn't think I'd need socks with them and off I went.

Usual 5 minute walk then I set off, my pace was quite a bit quicker than my usual pace and it was going great, it then seemed like the ankle support on my right ankle had shifted slightly and my shoes were rubbing on my heel and it was getting sore quite quickly.

Given I'm running the Christmas Day ParkRun I decided to stop before it got too bad.

My next run is now on Wednesday, I'm really looking forward to it, so far I've raised £300 for a local charity so I'm happy at that.

I'll post and let everyone know how I get on and the first ParkRun time I set, I'm usually a 42-43 minute 5k guy but let's see what happens.

Merry Christmas everyone and enjoy your runs.

Take care of that ankle. Good luck for your Christmas day parkrun and brilliant amount of money raised.

Hope Mrs LeeU is still running.
