Plan to do W9R1 on Monday, then W9R2 on Wednesday. I will be in Cardiff on Friday, so if you all goes well, I can either do W9R3 on the hotel treadmill Friday morning or at our local (and my first) ParkRun on Saturday.
I've only ever run 5k once, and I am INCREDIBLY SLOW. Shall I do next Saturday's Parkrun or should I wait till I am better at this? It's just that graduating on my first ever Parkrun would be lovely π.
(Also I have *new shoes*!!! ππππ. They are Saucony Guide Iso. I π them.)

Are you copying me? That's my timetable, although my R3 will be in Gt Yarmouth - running along the promenade Booked the weekend away ages ago not knowing it would coincide with W9R3. At least it'll be memorable.
From what I know of parkruns, there's no such thing as too slow. I'd say go for it but ultimately, it's what you think you're going to be the most comfy with. Good luck with W9.
Your final week of couch to 5k how exciting. Your ready for this!! Do enjoy and if you donβt mind would love a pic of your new π. Take care and have a pleasant run this week.
Just set your podcast and do your usual run, donβt get carried away just go steadily and slowly - or start off walking to get yourself some space and then run for 30mins. If, by the end of 30 mins youβre close to the end, you might find your legs taking over and sprinting you over the finish line. But even if you end by walking you will have graduated - win/winπ. By the way lots of people walk the whole way so you wonβt be too slow.
Well done you! Iβm starting Week 9 next week too and planning Mon, Wed & Fri runs π Deffo go for ParkRun Saturday if thatβs what you want to do, youβll do brilliant πββοΈ
Do it on parkrun... get there early and tell them that itβs your C25K graduation and I bet you get a lot of support. Donβt overthink anything, just do what got you here... youβve done an amazing job so far.
I did a Park Run straight after C25K as I wanted a benchmark to measure myself again at a later date. Although I too was incredibly slow, I now have a formal record of my starting point. Hope that helps
