W9R1 and the weight loss is back

I had to extend my route again to fit in the 30 minutes. Felt good to do the full thirty even if nowhere near 5K.

And the weight loss has decided to start again after a month - it stopped dead in week 4, although it was clear that while the scales weren’t playing ball, my body was still changing shape.

I had lost 20kg before I started Couch to 5K. I’d hoped that the running would help keep the weight loss going but also improve my fitness levels in advance of my operation. It was a bit dispiriting to see that downward progress halt for a month but at the same time I had tangible evidence of my stamina and fitness improving so I just hung on in there...

As you already know it's not all about the scales. I haven't weighed myself in 4 months but my body has totally changed shape again more so round my waist and rib area .

Great you're now on wk9 . Well done you 🎅🎅

So good to get that first 30 minutes under your belt isnt it?

Just 2 more runs to graduation, keep up the good work.

You're absolutely spot on about the weight loss. It's all about inches and fitness. My goodness, you can run for 30 minutes. How amazing is that!

Muscle apparently weighs more than fat — but it certainly takes up less space in clothes and jiggles less. 🤣😄👍 Well done for keeping going. Nearly done! 👏🏼🎉
