Noo shoos!

It's been a while since I had new shoes, I've volunteered for a local race at the end of December, the perks included lunch, a t shirt, wine and chocolates, and £10 off at my local sport shop, so what better time to get some new runners?

The service was impeccable, I took all my old shoes, and they gave them all an MOT, that took ages, as I seem to have accrued hundreds (slight exaggeration) of half knackered shoes...we sent 3 pairs to shoe heaven, 3 will live to run another day...

Then on to the gait analysis and trying on loads of pairs, I liked these and another pair, so was allowed to run outside in them, and even with a different one on each foot to make a really informed decision.

Anyway - I settled on these, and they are are just fab!! I love 'em to bits and my first run in them knocked about 6 mins off my usual slow 5 KM time. Shoes have changed a bit since I had any new ones, and these took me for a run rather than the other way round. I have great hopes for increased times...

That's a lot of incentives to get you to join in a race , it's brilliant.

Love the new shoes .

Good luck with that run and will be good to hear how you get on 🎅🎅

Still plodding away Tim, been a bit of a struggle to be honest, not had many good runs recently, I hope these shoes are going to change all that!

How are you doing?

Saw the hip and knee expert this week and she did not advise me to stop running, as I had feared, but I have to spend another couple of months building up wasted muscle on my left leg, so still no running, but light at the end of a very long tunnel.

Lovely shoes Curlrgurly

I love new balance only ever had New balance since I started out 10 years ago.

The first pair were 768s every pair since have been 860s going up numbers every year I have 860 v 9 at the moment and they were the first pair that I have had that were too tight across the front of the foot I’ve settled with them now but for some time I was a bit worried.

Enjoy your new shoes
