6.2 bites the dust ๐Ÿ™‚

My alarm woke me from a deep sleep this morning which is unusual, so it took me a good while to wake up and get moving. To be honest I struggled a bit and it seemed to take forever. Anyway thatโ€™s it done and dusted and itโ€™s also the last of the interval runs. Bring on the next chapter. Oh and Iโ€™ve lost just over 7lbs since I started so very happy with that ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Done and dusted, well done on completing the last run of interval walks and runs, from now on its running non stop starting with run 3 of week 6, which is the first of 4/25 minute runs, congratulations on losing 7lbs since starting C25K

Well done Rig, on to 25 mins of non stop running now. Youโ€™ve got this ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ˜

Great stuff, well done.

Not surprised you struggled. When it's the alarm waking me from a deep sleep, I usually need a gallon of coffee and 6hrs before I can function properly ๐Ÿ˜†.

Well done on the weight loss too. Are you doing anything else as well e.g. changing eating habits? I think I've only lost about 2lb , but I know my beer belly has shrunk :-)

I'm using Myfitnesspal as a food diary. I generally don't eat a lot of junk but I do like a beer :-) I'm coming in under my calorie budget pretty much every day mainly as I have stopped the beers after work during the week, switched to cereal and fruit for breakfast and cut down on the amount of bread that I eat (My Achilles heel). Other than that it's pretty normal, I still have the occasional pizza or burger and just have a few drinks over the weekend. I'm happy with losing around a pound a week, the time is flying by and I have set my goal for next December, as long as I keep doing what I'm doing I am really confident I'll get there. I'm losing inches as well, and get measured every 2 weeks but I can see it and feel it with my clothes. It won't be long before I'm back in my old trousers / jeans.

I think you're doing really well.

I used to have a bacon sarnie with a fried hash brown every workday for breakfast. I'm now on fruit 3 times a week, but I find that the morning after I've run the night before, I'm starving. So I'm still avoiding the bread, but I'm having a full English instead ๐Ÿ˜†.

I've cut down loads on alcohol, but I do love my red wine. Unless i can cut that out completely through the week, i think the weight loss will be slow.

Good luck with your targets though. Sounds like you're gonna get there without a problem

Yeah, I run early morning and then I'm pretty hungry shortly after. 4 Weetabix, A chopped Banana and skimmed milk is only 500 calories and sets me up until lunch time with an apple or two during the day. I switched to ham instead of cheese in my sandwiches and just have a decent evening meal without eating too late. I don't feel as though I'm depriving myself or as if I'm on a diet and it seems to be working :-)

Well done on losing weight! Has it been by running mainly?

Mainly, I haven't changed a whole lot and don't feel that I'm "dieting" I answered it in a bit more detail in a couple of the responses above.

Yes, I've just seen that. You're an inspiration! Well done you.

Thanks :-) I love this program, I'd much rather exercise and tweak my diet a little bit than feel as though I'm depriving myself which never works for very long. Small changes and being consistent is what works for me. Myfitnesspal is a really great app for letting you see which calories you can swap out for alternatives, it shouldn't come as a surprise but it often does. I'm a bit of a food label bore at the moment though! :-)
