First 41 minute 5k!!

First 41 minute 5k today outside in very refreshing weather lol! I am pleased because it's the best time I have completed 5km. I can feel improvements in my breathing rate and can run for longer. Not everytime but over time my performance is improving. This time last year I couldn't catch my breath after running one minute and then 90 second walking in weeks 1 and 2 of c25k. Now I think I can maybe even run a 10km which I would like to but haven't tried yet. It is something to work towards but most of all I enjoy running. Feeling the cool air and rushing through like a gazelle in my own chubby way lol! I haven't lost much weight but my fat is distributed more evenly which has given me a better healthier shape. I love being strong and my blood tests have shown large reduced cholesterol and a good level of recovery from fatty liver the nurse was impressed and asked whether I would see them at park run. I am so excited about being healthier. I do get grumpy if I don't get to go running for a couple of days but happy when I am back to it outside again. I even run in the dark around my streets under lighting which is great as I can see the stars as well as be more incognito lol. Happy running everyone much love and hugs xxx

I am enjoying my evening after also having had good parkrun this morning, not too long before you will be able to run a sub 35 minute 5K like I ran today, my parkrun time this morning was 32.38, I am sure you will be able to run a 5K in that time very soon. 😊 🏃🏾

Just being mindful of what you're eating . I use the Samsung health app on my phone to type in what I eat it helped 😊

Congratulations and good luck when you do your first park run. You can't beat the uplifting effect on mood that running has can you? I even felt better after running in wind and hail stones yesterday morning 😂
