Started out at 18stone 12lbs finished today 9 weeks later at 16 stone 12lbs... I didnβt manage to run as far as 5K .. 3.5k was all I could get to in the 30 minute runs but Iβm happy and itβs good enough for me.. no injuries through it all and finished in a lot better health (by the numbers) than when I started..
Thank you to everyone for their kind messages of support throughout and I hope my replies boosted your willingness to complete the 9 weeks too.
Merry Xmas and a continued positive New Year to everyone trying their best to stay healthy and strong.. X

Hello and thank you π€.. I didnβt know we got a certificate π₯³π₯³πββοΈ How nice π₯.. happy news on your graduation too .. Congratulations π
Great News, I'm half way through and have not paid much attention to the scales. I have around 50lbs to lose and I know its going down but I'm OK with just getting fitter every week for now
Thank you and excellent news you are half way through ... π€π€ keep going it is worth it .. my weight was heavy so I was really putting my health at risk so I can appreciate if others just need to get fitter..thatβs a fabulous goal too.. ππ€πββοΈ
Congratulations on your graduation, you must be so proud! πππ Your first posts were among the ones I read right before I started C25k two months ago (now on week 8), so I'm really happy to read about your achievement! ππ
How lovely to receive your message.. it is great that we both have come this far.. ππππ₯³... I remember the first week and thinking my goodness 2 months but what a great thing we kept going .. πββοΈπββοΈ Thank you again and congratulations on your achievement too π₯³
That's a great achievement- well done! I'm pretty sure I only did about 3.5 k on my graduation run. My first Parkrun was a few seconds under 40 mins. Now can do it in 35. I did 10k for first time ever tonight. Took me just under 75 minutes. I'm sure you can do it too. I was 17 stone 9 lbs when I started C25K in May, and now 13 st 6. (Admittedly just after running 10k - amazing how much you sweat out during a run!)
Keep at the running and you'll find your times and stamina will improve. Have a look at the C25K + podcasts. They are a good next step, And Laura gives you lots of good tips on running technique.
Make sure you get the "Graduate" badge. Getting that gave me a silly grin for ages!
Merry Christmas Wildstrawberries π this programme is for people who have decided to change their life for the better. Itβs for brave people. Itβs for positive people. Itβs for determined people. You are all of these things. Youβve completed the programme in a way that satisfies your need to progress and my moneyβs on you to carry on long after today. Keep posting!! π
