Starting again!

So I got up to week 7 back in July, but had to stop with a painful right achilles. The achilles is a lot better, although it’s still a bit sore from time to time. NHS physio has given me exercises and encouraged me to take it slowly – she says the c25k can progress too fast for some. I’m starting with brisk walking, and since my dream is to do Parkruns eventually, I’m doing 40 minutes’ worth three times a week. I’ll start c25k again in January and build up gradually. Planning week 1s in January, week 2s in Feb… week 9s in Sept. Wish me luck!

Although C25K is officially a 9 weeks course, you can repeat as many runs or week's if you wish to, just keep to all the exercises that your physio gives you, once you are ready to run then take as long as you want to do the C25K training program.
