Completed c25k a couple of times before, the last time was before Christmas unfortunately didn’t listen to myself when I finished and ended up trying to go faster, which resulted in me stopping. Well wk1r1 completed felt better than when I started last time so hopefully will be able to get to the end again. Need to listen to myself this time and be happy with getting through each week and not worry if I can’t do the magic 5k. Feeling positive

Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started....... again.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Only a small proportion of graduates manage a sub 30 minute 5k by graduation so don't worry about that.

Enjoy your journey.

Thank you I knew I was doing wrong but just couldn’t stop myself from wanting too much too quickly. I have given myself a good talking to again and am going to try to be sensible.

This really is about learning to run for 30 minutes. When you’re properly strong and an experienced runner (age and fitness will determine if this is 6 months or a year). You can address pace then. Welcome back!
