At one point I nearly stopped. Not because my legs gave way, but it was so windy last night, out in the open. One huge gust of wind slammed into me and nearly stopped me in my tracks. No help at all on the hill, with side winds hitting me.
Still, made it. Another week down. Onto week 8 now and a slightly longer run. Let's see what weather Satuday brings!
Happy running everybody.

Wow. That sounds really tough. We'll done for pushing through it. I was supposed to run last night but the wind a drain and really long day stopped me! Going to do it today instead.
Only 2weeks to go! You will be a graduate by Christmas!! (baring injury and illness touch 🎄!) you can do it! X
That is not an issue! If the weather is bad and you don't feel wonderful, just because it is not the HARDEST RUN EVER!!! Doesn't mean it is not a perfectly valid and positive run! Make it easier for yourself. It won't be long before you are champing at the bit to challenge yourself again anyway and it is far better to take it slow!
Still very sore I’m afraid - walked a lot in Spain which I’m not sure helped, but you have to get on with life. Doing exercises, massage, and popping the ibuprofen, but I think it may be after Xmas before I can start again. I keep coming here though to see how others are progressing and to keep focused on coming back to it. Looking forward to seeing you and a few other “fellow” runners graduate 👍😁
Hey! Glad to read that you are still running and what progress you have made, nearly there now... Yeah the weather makes it quite hard; when I set off today I didnt know what was worse the high wind or the rain but we did it
