Just completed the first run of week 8. 28 mins non stop followed by a walk. Really starting to feel like I’m running, my pace is getting quicker and I feel good after the run. Still amazed at what following the plan can achieve.

Hi Rigpig, it is the activity app from Apple Watch.
I actually have an Apple Watch but don’t use it as I prefer my Fitbit. Might give it another go! 😄
I use Fitbit as well. Somethings I prefer about it.

I’m amazed it says you’ve used 1,089 active calories - is that for the whole day or just that run? (For one 30 minute run my app usually tells me I’ve used about 250!) I don’t have an Apple Watch - I’m probably misunderstanding something here😊
Not sure how much I trust the calorie count. It covers my whole run & walk for the 1hr 25mins.
I have never combined the two, running or walking, but according to Mapmyrun/walk, I 'burned' 666 calories on a 12K walk recently, 759 calories on a separate 10K run about a week later and on a recent 5K I burned 370 calories.
It is amazing what we can achieve with the right plan and great effort. Well done you 🤗🤗
