Evening lovelies,

After sleeping in and missing my run this morning and a stressful day at work, I decided to settle on the sofa tonight ..guilt set in and I reluctantly got my running shoes on and dragged myself out for my run. I’m glad I did, wasn’t an easy run but boy do I feel better for it!

Sometimes you’ve just got push on through as the rewards are tenfold! 🏃‍♀️💪

Well done ! I’m a dawn runner so the thought of dragging myself off sofa in the evening is grim! Respect!

Ha! It was until I got out there. I’m glad I did though but like you, much prefer mornings! 😬🏃‍♀️

Same here. Has to be done first thing cos I’m not going anywhere in the evening 😅

It’s so much harder to motivate yourself in the evening 😂. Morning runs set you up for the day! X

They really do!! I’m buzzing when I get back and full of energy so it gets me through the day. I probably wouldn’t sleep if I did it in the evening 😂

Well done! If I'm particularly tired I have to try to remember that *any* run, no matter how short, is still better than no run - so that takes off the 'pressure' (or perceived pressure) to complete a scheduled run. And I've never yet regretted going out for a run - but I have regretted not going.

Absolutely with you on that! So easy to make excuses not to go out. As you say, any run is better than no run! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ x
