so next i start w5 (on sunday with maybe a crosstrainer session before then). I stopped counting today......i am not sure if that helps or not?
my accuracy was dropping as the time went up and counting for 5 mins is a pain.

I've found that once I finally learned to slow down, I've naturally found my comfortable pace. I've been fairly consistent over the last 3 runs. And if I feel like I'm running slower, I dont worry about it. Once I've got home and checked my stats, its usually still about right.
Most important thing I've learned, is to be comfortable. I check my stats afterwards just out if interest, but when I'm running, I only go at a pace I 'feel' happy with.
Counting helps in the early runs to pass the time, just enjoy yourself , smile as keep on running
Well done with Week 4, I'm sure you will enjoy Week 5, counting or not. I count 1 for every 2 steps and 90 is one minute, pretty consistently. It's a nice rhythm and helps me know how much further I have to go! I haven't got to grips with music and earphones yet, so it helps set a rhythm. Do whatever works for you and just keep running at your own pace.
