W4R3 done! Not looking forward to W5.

First time posting on here but have been finding encouragement in reading other's post and responses. I am in my mid 40's and more than twice the weight I should be! About time I did something about it. Did my final run of week 4 this morning and feel great. I go very slowly and only cover 2.8k in the 30 mins at the moment, but I am enjoying it far more than I ever thought I would. However, having looked ahead to the length of the runs in week 5 I am worried that I won't be able to do it, and I really don't want that to set me back.

Don’t worry about any of it. No pressure, no hurry. In your own time. The slower the better

Do read Iannoda’s pinned FAQ post 🙂

The programme is progressive so if you complete one session you can do the next Just concern yourself with the session immediately facing you

Good luck 😃👍💪

You're right, thanks. I need to stop loking ahead at future runs and just take it one run at a time. I will stop scaring myself then. 🙂

Best to be a bit Zen about it. Relax and enjoy it. It’s not a race It’s fun 🙂

Go as slow as you like as it helps with your puff 😃👍

Hi there. 😃😃😃

If you're a regular reader of the forum then you probably know what's coming.

You've finished week 4, and it's so not important how far you go. You are enjoying yourself and feeling great, how good is that? 👍👍👍

Next week may look daunting but you are ready for it. Just do what you've been doing, go as slow as you need to and there's no reason to not finish.

Don't worry about speed or distance covered just trot (or plod, or trudge) along for the times set.

Get out there and enjoy doing it. 🤩

It really does feel great after I complete each run so I need to focus on that. I definately will be plodding along but I will try to continue enjoying it and not worry about what's next. I am amazed I have been able to get this far without any problems as I haven't run since school almost 30 years ago! Always hated it then so very happy that I am enjoying it now.

You’re doing great and these runs are all setting you up for the one that you fear... you’ll be ready for it.

It’s great that you’re enjoying it... go get that wonderful run buzz. Slow and steady is just perfect. Keep it just like that.
