Bridge to 10k plan

Just a quick question, sorry if I've missed an obvious thread!

Is there somewhere a Bridge to 10k plan that is just listed time/distance wise rather than being an app or podcast?

I'm hoping to programme the runs into Runmeter and use my own music, but wanted some time and distance goals to start from.

Thanks

Frances

Hi - I've been referring to this website - link below which has really helped me. I also know that Bupa do one as well. I too am looking to bridge using my own music distances etc.. runningplanet.com/10k-train...

Happy Running. :-)

I did bupa beginners 10 k I started at wk 3 as didn't want to go back to walking . It is 3runs a week and easy to follow I just printed it out and ticked of each run and kept note of times I like having a structure to follow

I'm going to try the link Bazza1234 provided... I can then just plug those intervals into MapMyRun and head out... not until next week though ... this week is about getting a few more 30 minute runs under the belt... :)

Can you programme intervals into MAPMYRUN?? I thought that of all these different Apps that only RUNKEEPER did this???

At least on the iPhone version you can.. Warm up and warm downs included... ;)

I use Runmeter (again on an iphone) and can programme intervals, speed, distance and probably lots of things I've not even thought of!!

Thanks everyone.

I'll give them both a look, and see how I get on, but, the same as aussiegtc, I'm going to get a few more 5ks first.

The RunDouble app has a bridge to 10k programme; you can choose either timed (running for one hour continuously) or distance (10k in whatever time). You can construct your own playlists through an an external app and play them through the RunDouble app. I've used this app for c25k timed and it's really good.

Not what you're looking for?
