Found it mentally so hard to get started - only found my pace at around 18 mins in! Nearly gave up after 5 as just felt too hard but something kicked in saying ‘you’ve done 25 min runs four times so just get to that point and the last 3 will be a breeze!’ And I guess, well, I didn’t give up! Just hope the next one is mentally easier....

I did this run today too...have just posted about how it was my slowest yet 😬 I think the time checks aren’t always helpful tbh, I find myself looking out for them sometimes or having my mind dragged back from the run to how much (or little) I’ve done. But I guess they’re there for a reason. And we did it so well done us 🎉 here’s to W 8 R2!

Good point - we did it! So obviously we can do it again and we will get fitter each time x

Excellent 🎈These longer runs teach you exactly that...endurance & how to pace yourself! The first 10 mins are always tough for most runners... toxic 10... so best to start off very slowly until you are through them and then build up pace towards the end . So exciting to be this close to the end.
