One run left in W3. Looking forward to it tomorrow but feeling a bit daunted by week 4. The best thing I’m finding is how much better my mood is for the rest of the day. I think I could get addicted to this, which isn’t bad at 61!

Not bad at all it’s great this running thing isn’t it? and after a few weeks apart from the big grin because you can do it there will be the deeper breaths and the smaller waist

Hiya

I’ve just done w4r2 and felt the same way last week, 5 minutes I thought not a chance. I have just posted myself that this was by far my favourite run to date and can’t wait for run 3 and beyond. Don’t put any pressure on yourself just go slow and steady and enjoy your achievements. Good luck, you’ve got this.

Well done , you’ll be amazed that you just somehow do it ! I was .. on week 7 one run left ( 25 mins ) each one I’ve wondered if I can do it - but just do . Had bad knee pain so going slower and straight back which has really helped . Keep going & good luck !

Well done. Just to echo others really, I thought the same as you.. wow that's a big jump.

But the program has you physically ready for it. Most important thing is, take it really slow. If you have anything left in the tank at the end, pick up the pace then. But start really, really slow :-)

I got up to W4 a few weeks but for various reasons haven't been out for a while. What I've done do far is, on my last run of a set week I've tried to make the final run the length that I'll have to go next week (if you see what I'm saying?) So in your case try and stretch your last 3 minute run to 5 minutes if you can. That way you'll have legitimately completed W3 anyway, plus if you manage the full 5 minutes, you'll go into W4 KNOWING that you can do it, and if you can't quite make the whole run, you'll know that all you have to do is take things a little slower. It's a win - win I think,

61......a mere babe :) I am 69 ...:)

Well done you. Just carry on taking it slow and steady and relaxing into the runs... All the runs follow on, each one, you are ready for... all you have to do is believe it...
