Great job... and a perfect run report too!

Short and sweet, congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran 🏃🏾 😊

Thank you! But why would going back to walks and short runs catch people out? Surely that’s easier again?

No, the reason that R1of week 6 catches out some people is that after the 20 minutes of W5R3 they think R1 of week 6 will be easy as there are some walking breaks, the muscles in your legs become a little sore having to go back to walks and runs, however, if you take that run particularly slowly you won't find it too bad at all.

Blooming well done you

Brilliant scooberella! Another W5r3 champion! Well done 😆.

Well done!! I’ve just done my W5r2 so 20 minutes on Friday. Quite looking forward to it after today’s run.

I've just done that today. I found it quite difficult and can't believe I've done. The second 4 minutes of the 8 minutes weren't too bad coz got into the motion. Saying that I'm dreading the 20 minutes on Friday. Need to have a word with myself!!!!! 🤣 🤣

You will be able to - I have no idea how this plan is working but it does. I wrote this for someone else who asked me it might help you

It was wierdly ok. I had decided before I started that I was going to be able to do the 20 mins run, based on the fact everyone said it was possible after the previous wks . Then I made sure I had a podcast and music to distract me from getting bored. I was using deep breathing to flood my body with oxygen which also kept me going. Honestly, I was slow jogging all the way so as not to get worn out but so much so, that the end came before I expected I couldn’t believe it! I’d say all in all it was my mind that was the most crucial I began thinking “I’m doing this “ and it was decided. I was in the right mood, the weather was nice and I wasn’t tired when I set off. I hope all that helps, really good luck. 💪🏾

I can second every word of that, great advice for you there!

Wow!!!

WELL DONE!!! So happy for you. I just came back from W5R2 and the 8 minutes felt manageable....but the whole run I was thinking about the 20 minute run. I will keep your post in mind when I head out on Friday morning...send good karma my way!!!

I was the same, but I swear it’s ok, you can 100% do it. I’m beyond astonished, I don’t know what sorcery is behind this programme but it’s working! You’ll be absolutely fine.

Thank you for your encouraging words, scooberella!! I will update on Friday!! Celebrate your success :)

Wow! That's all you have to say scooberella. Congrats! We've just finished W4R2 and are imagining W5R3 with a little trepidation - but also excitement.
