Wk3 run3

So I've just completed the last run in week 3 and found it challenging again . Slowed my pace down but that last 3mins run has done me again lol. Starting week 4 on Friday . There's 2x 5min runs so Lord help me !!!.No pain no gain I guess . The good thing is I'm still loving it . πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ‘ŒβœŒ

Yes, that’s a very good thing! πŸ‘πŸΌ The plan does stretch you but you should recover on the rest day and be ready for the next push. Ever onwards! πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘

I know exactly how you feel! I found the first few weeks so hard, but the programme really came through for me - I've just done W7R2 and I can't believe how quickly my body has adapted to running, but it did, and I'm sure you will too! Keep up the good work πŸ˜€

Go GMAN! You're a machine! πŸ™ŒπŸ’ͺπŸ…

I bet last week you never thought you would run for 3 minutes and double the time you ran for and guess what? You did it!

Next week you don't quite double that time again so that's even easier than this week, right?!

Seriously though, I bet you will find your stride on the 5 minute runs and you will surprise yourself. On this last run you tell yourself that you have to get to 3 minutes and you focus on that magic number. I bet you were surprised when you sailed past the 90s mark that seemed such a challenge last week? Well next week you will be so focused on the 5 minutes mark that I bet you sail through the 3min point that you found tough today!

I am doing my first 25 minute run today or tomorrow and it amazes me that only three weeks ago I was doing the very run you have just done. People kept saying to me to trust the plan and I have just begun to realise that they were right!

Sending you virtual high fives buddy! πŸ˜πŸ™ŒπŸ™ŒπŸ™ŒπŸ™Œ

You are soooooo right Lindsey joy .I'm loving the positive vibes that your sending my way. Wk4 run 1 is going be hard but nobody said it was going to be easy lol. Knowing that you was in the same position only afew weeks ago gives me the drive that I need !!!!.You're going to smash that 25min run,I know you are . Same here, facing Week 4 on Friday with trepidation. 5 minutes suddenly seems like an eternity. πŸ‘πŸ˜¬

Good going GMAN I was absolutely πŸ’©ing it about the 5mins but really concentrated on slowing the pace and it flew by! Even managed a small sprint finish to the last one πŸ€ͺ

in reply to Richlfb

I'm just going to keep it steady on Friday and see how it goes . There's no chance of a small sprint on the end run tho πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. .

I use the word sprint in the loosest possible term there are probably snails that sprint quicker but I felt like Mo Farah πŸ€ͺπŸ€ͺ
