First consolidation run done ✅

Definitely struggled with my mindset in my first consolidation run and missed Jo Whiley cheering me on but I was excited to see how far I could go in 30 minutes as I’d always recorded the whole session including the walks before. So pleased that I did 3.8k in the 30 minutes not quite 5K but something to build on❤️🏃‍♀️

Well done you..! Mix it up now.... short runs, 30 minute runs and some longer slower runs as you move on. New routes too... have fun and know that every run is making your legs stronger and building everything up!

Thanks I’m planning on a couple more consolidation runs and then maybe increase one a week just by a couple of minutes then join in with the bridge to 10K ready for the winter run in February

It's a strange feeling, that first run on the other side! Just keep on as you are, it will get easier 👍🏻😁

It was pretty odd but nice in a strange way just me and my music.

Lots of great advice and well done on finishing the programme!! Welcome to the other side!! I just told myself that I did not do this programme and make this huge commitment to let it slide, so get some great tunes to listen to, work out your own programme where you mix it up, as suggested above, and set yourself a goal - perhaps a 5k event in the spring and work towards that!! good luck!

Well done, DottyF! Strangely liberating to run without the app and just run for fun.

You can still use Jo, I still use week 9 and Sarah a couple of times a week, helps me pace myself.
