Fortunately I graduated last Friday, so after a weekend of celebrations π (ok, I had one pint πΊ on Friday) it was time to get going again today.
My first effort without MJ encouraging me was a little odd at first, but also quite liberating in having to decide myself how to go about it today.
After reading the various helpful links on here about what to do next, I decided to head out on a 33 min run, 10% more than last weeks 30 min runs. On purpose I set off a little slower than last Friday, where I went too mad and fast. Although I was slower I still found the first (toxic) 10 minutes tough.
After that , I settled in to a nice pace and was a bit more relaxed....and started to enjoy it more. Finished the 33 mins and felt really good. The C25K has prepared me well πββοΈπ
I am going to do a park run πββοΈ for the first time on Saturday, looking forward to that ( I think π€) and I have been advised to take it easy and just enjoy it without worrying about time or pace.
Before that Iβll have another venture out on Wednesday or Thursday, prob just a 30 mins run .....perhaps Iβll save doing interval training until after I have 3 weeks of consolidation runs under my belt.
Happy to take advice from anyone regarding the above, with any tips appreciated.
Happy running πββοΈ all π
Ps - had another lovely Sunday roast last night , so not able to set a blistering pace today even if I wanted to π
