Did a little too much yesterday,Dubai 30/30 ( programme of 30days and 30mins lead by a personal trainer at school with my grandson, then 8.3 and then the pool.
Will not go until I’m ready.
Takes time to rebuild again.I quit the gym basically 10 months ago in favour of runners exercises as per Pete Magill.Early days but I have found I put a few Kg’s back on.But not putting enough km’s in yet.
Attempted a Nov Speed Challenge 200m in the light rain before the thunder and lighting.Have to be patient and hoping a burst of speed will reappear.
Best wishes with your programmes and keep on keeping on.

Thanks GTB.Too many garden distractions at home then you just have to build up sensibly again.I always joke there is no fool like an old fool. But I am pleased I have a bit more savvy now from on here.

Just read this then looked at your profile - I became interested as you mentioned rebuilding. I graduated in Oct and picked up an injury. This morning I was feeling incredibly sorry for myself and thinking "Well, I'm too old (54), I may as well just forget about it". Well I read your story and feel motivated to carry on with this.
Thank you. Reading your post this morning was just what I needed and came at the right time. I started to do my knee exercises again after reading this. 🙏 😊👍
Well done to you Tbae on attempting your Nov Speed Challenge 200 metres,
pity about the thunderstorms, I hope you are enjoy your runs
I have now ran 10 parkruns, 8 at Dunfermline and 2 at Drumpellier Country Park, also I have ran 4/10Ks, just locally, keep well and as you say at the end of your post
"keep on keeping " which I suppose means, keep on running. 😊
