It will be a great year for you Tbae, hopefully no injuries, running at your own comfortable pace, just gradually increasing the distance you run until you get to 26 miles
Have you any particular marathon in mind or do you just want to run it somewhere on your own?
So I wish you and your family a very Happy New Year for 2020
An event must be great Alan.Donβt want too much involvement with getting to a start line.
The Holy Island marathon in Augustπ€ maybe a possibility and has a very generous 10 hour cut off.It uses part of the day 1 and day 3 Ring of Fire event.
I am chilled about this.
Just want to experience running for 6 hours. From my gate/drinking station I have an already made 10/11/12 km circuit that I can just repeat 4 times.Job done.
Well thatβs the plan.Long way to go.
Every good wish with your sub 30 min 5k.
Hope I can follow you.Ran 2:45 pace last week over the 100m, hoping the improved leg turnover will help.
You will be able to run that Holy Island Marathon in far less than 10 hours, that is 71 minute 5K pace, I think you will be able to run it in 6 hours, that is 42.40 5K pace, you have plenty of time to train for it.
