Week 4 d1: That was a cold run this morning but... - Couch to 5K
Week 4 d1
Well done you for braving the cold. Iβm sure youβll smash the other 2 runs π
Well done ππΌ it certainly was chilly out there this morning! Good luck the rest of the week πͺπΌ
Definitely getting a lot colder but when you run you're not long in heating up.
Great you've now completed wk4r1.
Well done you π
Well done going out in the cold, the next time you'll know you can do it because you already have. Weve had snow in the garden since Friday so I understand cold running π
π₯Ά βοΈ π π¨ π the challenges of being a runner are many but we tackle them all. What a crazy happy bunch we are! πββοΈ πββοΈ πββοΈ πββοΈ πββοΈ
Yeah I dont mind the cold... it's cold and wet I dont like.
Well done on Wk4. I'm on it now. Feels like quite a step up
Well done Pete1212. W4 R1 is as far as I've got so far and I had to do a couple of practice runs before I could do that. (I'm currently on a weeks holiday which also includes a holiday from C25K). The only way I can fit running into my days is to get up an hour earlier, go out and get it done before my usual day starts. I get quite hot quite quickly, so am currently preferring the colder weather. As well as jogging bottoms and a T shirt I wear a light waterproof cycling jacket, running gloves and a hat (to start with). My gloves and hat usually come off during my first run (I'm currently at Week 4) and my jacket gets un-zipped to let out the excess heat during the walks (I do partially zip it back up again for the runs, I don't want extra wind resistance!) Whilst I've been out I have seen other runners dressed only in t shirt & shorts, which is OK if you start off running straight away but I want to make sure that my muscles are warmed up after the walk before I start running.
