Week 3 completed 🙂

For those who are doing the program outside after having done it on the treadmill. Do you still do your 3 weekly runs on the treadmill as well as the runs outside ?

I’m currently doing my treadmill runs the same day as I run outside but I’m wondering how long I can keep that up. I do it the same day to ensure I still have my rest days.

Thank you 🙂

I think you will have a whole range of answers to your question, but I don't know many people who routinely do two runs per day.

Please be aware of the 10% rule used to safely increase training load, as described in the guide to post C25K running healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Whether you run inside or outside, it is still a useful guide to increasing your running once you are no longer following the plan.

Thank you. I’ll take a look at that 🙂

Well, I'm only an 'outside runner' so can't comment from experience. What I do think is that at the moment you are doing twice as much work as you need to which may not be a problem at the moment, but may impact on you later into the programme. (You may however be plenty fit enough to cope with that, but I know that I couldn't!)

I certainly I’m not fit at all . Just started on my journey this year but still very overweight

Thank you

I couldn’t do that, my back and knees, wouldn’t be able to cope. I’ just doing 3 runs a week, either inside or out certainly not both. Take care you don’t over do it.
