Week 2 done ✅

I’ve just finished week 2 and feeling pretty happy with myself! The first run this week I didn’t think I’d be able to move to week 3 and run for 3 consecutive minutes but after today I feel more positive and actually excited. Will do w3r1 on Monday once kids r at nursery... I hope a 2 day break doesn’t set me back? Surely not 🤷🏻‍♀️ I know it’s not as good as others on here but I can’t help feeling pleased. Love reading everyone’s posts too, it’s really encouraging ☺️

Congratulations on progress, doing great. 2day breaks are built into the plan, don’t worry. If you want to keep doing some fitness look at the strength and flex forum, maybe some of the things you could do with the young ones. Enjoy

You should be so pleased and proud of yourself , running takes determination and hard work. I always had Saturday and Sunday off when doing c25k as I ran Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Now I go to parkrun every second Saturday.

Enjoy your weekend and well done you 😊😊

Well done for completing W2. I always have 2 rest days between weeks, and have found that I need them so I’m pretty sure it won’t set you back - probably the opposite! Looking forward to hearing how you get on 😁

Hey you are doing great and a 2 day break is sometimes beneficial as it gives those legs time to rest and get ready for the next run

Have fun it’s an amazing programme

Brilliant, well done. A two day break will be no problem at all - in fact it's likely to be just the opposite, your muscles will have had time to fully recover and should be raring to go. Enjoy week 3, you're ready 🙂

Excellent, really well done.

Isn't it such a good feeling when you finish a week.

Dont worry at all about a 2 day break. I'm just about to do Wk4 R2 and I've taken a 2 day break between every week so far.

I find that I need it.
