Well run two completed and slightly easier with my new inhaler but still a struggle.
Not sure if I will be able to run 20 mins in two weeks. Please tell me it gets easier.
Wondering if I will have to repeat a week

It does get easier, honest it does.
There's a breathing technique that can help with asthma but it's not that easy during exertion... if you can try to hold your breath after you breathe in, even if its only half a second it helps the oxygen get into your body better before exhaling. When I first started c25k my asthma did play up, it's much improved now, but I would try to do this every 3rd or 4th breath if my chest felt tight and it did help. 👍🏻
Great you've got your new inhaler I hope it continues to help. As everyone else is told go slow and slower again if it helps. Well done you 😊
Hope jojo's technique helps, be careful as the weather gets colder. It is ok to slow down and stop if you are struggling. Take care
Well done, and I wouldn’t say it got easier, but it is manageable if you go slowly. Famous last words, as I have the 20 min run tomorrow 😆
I'd hazard a guess that at least 95% of us thought we wouldn't be able to run 20 minutes when we were at the beginning of week 2 (the other 5% hadn't looked ahead 😍). But the program is very clever, it prepares us week by week for the next run by challenging us just enough. It tends not to feel easy when we are still being challenged, that treat is in store for you once you graduate. Trust the program. Of course, repeating weeks is just fine ... but no need to make that decision just yet. Good luck 🙂
