Tonight can only be described as grin (or grit teeth) and bare it. I think I was expect run 2 this week to be easier than run 1 but it wasn’t. Hey hi Not a good run but I did it. Hoping Saturday will be better. 😬

How was your hydration ? It's always harder for me if I don't drink enough water every day

That could well be a factory- my hydration is not great at the best of times, even before starting C25k. Thanks for mentioning as it might help me to drink more - I am drinking more often (water and herbals teas) but just not very much

My average is 2.5 litres a day, if I drop below that I feel it when I run. Most days I drink 3 litres

👍🏻 Will def bare this mind and might invest in one of those water bottles with the litres/hours marked on

We all have stinky runs. They are the ones that really build us up for the next great one, I believe, because you had to work harder, both physically and mentally, which makes you more resilient and fitter. Keep it up! 👏👍🤨💪

Very well done beating that tough run. I’ve been doing this a year... some days it’s easy, other days it really sucks and I still want to quit... but like you today I suck it up and grit my teeth. We all get tough runs... sometimes we can find a reason for it, other times we can’t... but the next run is usually much smoother. Have a wonderful run on Saturday.

I did the same run this morning and the second 3 minute run was a massive struggle (as it was on the first - wk3r1). I got through it and will do on the next run and i'm sure you will too, just listen to the folks on here and that coupled with your own determination you'll be ok i'm sure :)

Thanks AndyB111s it’s good to know there are others like me out there. 👍🏻

I am planning run 3 in the morning rather than after a long day at work - see if that helps. Good luck with yours.

I don’t look ahead as although I know how it works and the runs obvs have to increase- I just need to focus on the week in hand (or risk scaring myself out of it). I’m sure you’ll do it- listening to all the grads on here proves it’s achievable- um at least I hope so 😅
